Responsibilities:

  • Ministry of Education/Public Health required medical documentation.
  • Familiar with Child Care Early Years Act (CCEYA).
  • Develop and implement daily activities for children.
  • Nurtures independence, self-esteem and success in students.
  • Classroom management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic, creative, energetic and nurturing.

Qualifications:

  • Working childcare experience at least 2 years (an asset).
  • Police Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening no more than 6 months old.
  • Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification.
  • Up to date immunizations.
  • Fluency in English is a must.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract. Contract length: 12 months. Salary will be based on experience.

Schedule: 8-hour shift – must be able to work a variety of shifts between 7:30am to 6pm weekdays. No weekends.
