Grace Christian Montessori is a Christian-faith-based Montessori school that aims to provide high-quality Montessori and early learning programs to children aged 18 months to 6 years old. We are currently seeking enthusiastic, qualified and accredited Montessori Casa and toddler teachers to join our team. If you hold an AMI or MACTE accredited Casa Montessori Diploma, love children, and are passionate about teaching and learning, you are who we are looking for! New Graduates are also welcome!

Details Of Position

  • Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
  • Location: 601 Newpark BLVD, Newmarket, Ontario, L3X 2S2
  • Expected start date: September 2024 (May start in Mid-August as part time)
  • Salary: based on education and experience
  • Schedule: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday to Friday)

Requirements

  • Holding a Toddler or Casa Montessori Diploma that is AMI or MACTE accredited
  • Baptist Christian
  • Well-developed skills in areas such as leadership, communication, organization, teamwork, accountability, initiative and creativity
  • Ability to work well with other staff members in a collegial atmosphere
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Teaching experience, Early Childhood Education Diploma, and background in Arts or Music will be an asset
  • Health assessment (no active communicable diseases or infection risks)
  • Updated Immunization record
  • Police Vulnerable Sector Check (6 months current to hiring date)
  • Standard First Aid/CPR, Level C
