About The Role
As an Early Childhood Assistant Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in our Montessori classrooms, working alongside our experienced lead teachers to create a dynamic learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating a Prepared Environment: Assist in preparing and maintaining a classroom environment that supports the individual needs of each child, including making and organizing educational materials.
- Planning and Facilitating Activities: Collaborate with the lead teacher to design and implement activities that promote social, emotional, and academic growth, both individually and in groups.
- Fostering Independence: Encourage children to develop independence by allowing them to engage in self-directed activities and tasks.
- Environmental and Personal Care: Support children in caring for their environment and themselves, promoting responsibility and self-reliance.
- Adaptable Teaching: Help tailor classroom activities to meet the diverse backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs of all students.
- Behaviour Management: Implement positive behaviour management strategies in line with our school policies.
- Building Relationships: Develop strong, cooperative relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a supportive and inclusive community.

- Personal Care Assistance: Provide respectful and attentive assistance with toileting and diapering as needed.

Qualifications And Requirements
