The Maria Montessori School is the exemplar school of the Maria Montessori Institute, based in London, UK. The school serves approximately 180 children between the ages of 2 and 16 years and is based across several sites in North West and West London, UK. With a 60-year tradition of AMI Montessori as both a school and training institute, we are deeply committed to Montessori’s vision for children and excited to be in the process of growing the Adolescent programme.
We are seeking a dynamic and inspiring Head of School to provide leadership and cultivate a flourishing school community of children, parents and staff from September 2026. The successful candidate should hold an AMI Diploma for at least one level or have previous leadership experience of running a Montessori school. Additionally, they should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a positive, energetic approach to problem solving, combined with a flair for team building.
The salary for this position is £65,000 - £70,000 per annum in addition to a relocation fee, if applicable, up to £7,000. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key member of an historic organisation that is a focal point and resource centre for Montessori education in the UK with a strong legacy in training, outreach and innovation.
