Raising Eagles Montessori Nursery is seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Teacher to join our friendly team. We provide care and education for children aged 2–5 years, with a focus on fostering independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.
Purpose of the Role
- Provide high standards of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of every child.
- Support colleagues and work collaboratively to create an enabling environment for all children to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a stimulating Montessori classroom environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
- Observe, assess, and adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents, updating them on progress and addressing any concerns.
- Model positive behaviour, respect, and effective communication.
- Work as part of a supportive team and engage in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications and Experience
- Montessori Certificate from a recognised training centre.
- Full and relevant Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred).
- Previous experience working with children aged 2–5.
- Strong understanding of child development and the Montessori approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
