PEAK Training – Early Childhood Trainer and Assessor

We are currently looking for a Trainer and Assessor to join our RTO PEAK Training to support our Early Childhood Certificate III and Diploma students for all Early Childhood service types.

Located in Summer Hill and directly across from the train station, PEAK Training is a boutique RTO and operates as a not-for-profit organisation.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) training and assessing. You will be integral in ensuring our students have a positive learning experience, graduate from their course and grow professionally to provide quality care and education for children in the sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide learning support and mentorship to our students via virtual platform, phone and email
  • Deliver, review, maintain and validate training packages
  • Assessment marking
  • Trainer administrative tasks including responding to enquiries, supporting the enrolment process and onboarding students
  • Conduct face to face work placement visits when required and/or online observations for distance students.
  • Maintain RTO compliance
  • Develop and deliver professional development training packages online and/or in-person.

Requirements:

  • Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
  • Early Childhood Qualification (minimum level Diploma)
  • Minimum 3 years and current ECEC Sector experience
  • Ability to present webinars and ZOOM sessions
  • Experience in both face to face and online learning environments
  • Patient and empathetic
  • Highly developed written, oral, and digital literacy skills
  • Effective time management and administrative skills
  • Current RTO experience
  • Experience in compliance requirements including ASQA Audits
  • Knowledge of diverse ECEC environments including Family Day Care
  • Smart and Skilled Funding knowledge
  • Experience with VETtrak or other student management software
  • Experience with Online Learning Platforms
