We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our esteemed team at Montefiore Wakefield Campus, a Magnet designated hospital recognized for its excellence in patient care. Our Psych department is currently seeking a highly skilled per-diem Registered Nurse to provide top-notch care to patients.
The role of the per-diem Registered Nurse involves providing professional nursing care to assigned patients. This includes assessing patients' needs, developing and documenting nursing care plans, and preparing and administering medications and interventions as necessary. Additionally, the per-diem Registered Nurse is responsible for supervising nursing attendants and ancillary staff in patient care activities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of RN bedside experience in a hospital setting
- New York State RN License
- BSN Degree preferred
- Basic Life Support Training
- Infection Control Training
- Effective English communication skills
- Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems
