The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine offers an outstanding opportunity for a Medical Director of our Moses Campus Child Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic. The successful candidate will provide leadership to an outstanding staff of psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, offer training, education, supervision, and mentorship for psychiatry residents, child and adolescent psychiatry fellows, and psychology interns and externs, and deliver clinical services to the Bronx community.
The clinic provides general and specialty clinical services, including DBT, CBT, and treatment programs for patients with eating disorders. Montefiore and the Department of Psychiatry are committed to career and academic development, physician and family wellness, diversity and inclusion, and excellence in patient care and medical education. Mentorship and research opportunities are available.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits. A faculty appointment, commensurate with qualifications, is available at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Opportunities to participate in faculty practice and optional evening and weekend coverage of our three Bronx hospitals for additional experience and compensation exist.
Eligible applicants must be Board Certified in Psychiatry and Board Eligible or Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. In addition to a competitive salary of $225,000–260,000, applicants can increase income with additional call responsibilities and productivity incentives. Long-term disability (LTD), short-term disability (STD), paid malpractice, health, dental, vision, and a 403(b) plan are also offered.
