Remote opportunity
Remote opportunity. This role involves working with a team of 2-3 Attending Radiologists and 1-3 residents, depending on shift. Inpatient coverage is based on ED volumes and the candidate’s subspecialty experience.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary expectations are $450,000-500,000 plus productivity incentives. The salary structure offers competitive academic salaries in the region. A quarterly productivity incentive plan provides increased opportunities for compensation, especially in the fast-paced ED setting. There are additional internal moonlighting opportunities. Benefits include a 403(b) retirement plan, paid malpractice, long-term disability (LTD), short-term disability (STD), and CME with stipend.
Academic Appointment
Faculty rank at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience. Applicants must be eligible for and able to obtain licensure in New York prior to start date.

Position Details
Evening/Night Academic Radiologist. The Montefiore Department of Radiology is seeking multiple ABR-Certified/Eligible Radiologists to staff a new evening/night shift to cover growing Emergency Department volume.
Candidates will work on a “one week on, one week off” schedule while only working one weekend every four weeks (equivalent to 10 weekday shifts and 2 weekend shifts per month). The shift length is 8 hours from 4 PM-12 AM (or 5 PM-1 AM) EST and may be performed on-site, hybrid, or remotely. The ideal candidate will have Fellowship training or equivalent experience in Emergency Radiology, Neuroradiology, and/or Body Radiology. Current Fellows are welcome to apply.
Coverage is primarily for Montefiore’s four Emergency Departments (Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level II trauma centers). Montefiore Medical Center is the teaching hospital for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Imaging equipment is state-of-the-art and continuously updated.
