The Division of Geriatrics at Montefiore Medical Center-Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking a full-time faculty member (Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and board certified or eligible in Geriatrics). The Division includes 10 physician faculty, a highly regarded fellowship program, and outstanding clinical programs in all care settings and a nationally recognized research program.
The clinical responsibilities are in both the ambulatory and inpatient setting. The ambulatory role includes geriatrics consultations at the Center for the Aging Brain (CAB), a multidisciplinary dementia evaluation unit, and a designated NY State Center of Excellence for Alzheimer’s Disease (CEAD). The inpatient role includes geriatric hospitalist and involvement in a geriatrics-orthopedics co-management service. There is significant opportunity for academic growth and participation in research.
Montefiore Health System consists of eleven hospitals; a primary and specialty care network of more than 180 locations across Westchester County, the lower Hudson Valley and the Bronx; an extended care facility; the Montefiore School of Nursing, and our Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
In addition to a competitive salary of $215,000-$260,000, we offer the opportunity to make more income with additional call responsibilities and productivity incentives. LTD, STD, paid malpractice, health, dental, vision and a 403(b) are also offered.
