Position

Orthopedic Total Joint Replacement Surgeon – Full Time. Description: Seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and hard-working Total Joint Replacement Surgeon to join our expanding Orthopedic practice of 4 Orthopedic Surgeons in our New Windsor (Hudson Valley) NY Hudson Valley an academic environment. This position is to replace a recently retired provider with a full practice. Immediate volume guaranteed. Primary job responsibilities focus on the development and maintenance of a busy multi-specialty musculoskeletal outpatient practice.

Facility and Organization

Facility Description: Montefiore Einstein Health System (MHS) comprises more than 12 hospitals and a wide network of outpatient facilities. Montefiore Medical Center is a premier academic institution and the University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine. MHS provides state-of-the-art primary and specialty care through a network of more than 150 locations. The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and the Montefiore Einstein Joint Center is part of the organization and has achieved Center of Excellence accreditation by the Joint Commission.

Responsibilities and Expectations

• Help sustain and grow an active clinical practice in New York’s Hudson Valley.
• Work closely with colleagues in the outpatient practice and within the department to support an integrated care model and high-quality care.
• Operate primarily at Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh, NY.
• Call of 1:4 or better.
• Full support staff of Physician Assistants, LPNs and Medical Assistants.

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery and Fellowship trained.
• Ability to obtain NY State Medical License.
