We are currently looking for a full time Family Medicine Hospitalist to join our collegial team. Our hospitalists cover approximately 15 patients on a 7 on/7 off schedule. The structure of our service is unique in that the majority of our patients come from our FM clinic sites allowing for continuity of care between inpatient and outpatient. Hospitalists are expected to work with and supervise both PAs and FM residents. Hospitalists are also expected to participate in formal teaching and evaluation of residents. Our service covers adult patients on general medicine and telemetry floors across the hospital. We are looking for experts in hospital medicine, as well as individuals with an interest in teaching and academic medicine. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine OR Internal Medicine are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and collaborate with Physician Assistants and FM residents on the hospital service.
- Participate in formal teaching and evaluation of residents.
- Care for adult patients on general medicine and telemetry floors across the hospital.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (encouraged to apply).
Compensation and Benefits
In addition to a competitive salary range of $170,000-190,000, we offer a full suite of benefits including paid malpractice, LTD, paid CME and 403(b) contributions and so much more.
