Program Overview: Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY is expanding its clinical program in diabetes, obesity and metabolism and seeks to add highly qualified endocrinologists for an academic position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the clinician educator track.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide clinical care in the endocrinology/diabetes faculty practice.
- Focus on the Supporting Emerging Adults with Diabetes (SEAD) program for young adults with type 1 diabetes.
- Participate in a multidisciplinary clinical research lab.
- Contribute to diabetes collaborative quality improvement and research networks.
- Teach medical students and fellows.
Requirements:
- Completion of an ACGME approved endocrinology fellowship program.
- Board certification in endocrinology (or board eligible for recent grads).
- Interest in type 1 diabetes and/or young adults is especially encouraged.
Salary Range:
- Assistant Professor β $195,000
- Associate Professor β $220,000
