Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Sr. Director of Cancer Clinical Research Administration, responsible for the development, coordination, and submission of Medicare Coverage Analyses and clinical trial budgets.
- Prepare detailed cost assessments for industry-sponsored clinical trials and investigator-initiated studies, including studies supported by foundations and grants.
- Collaborate with Program Directors to oversee clinical research billing compliance for oncology studies ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Responsible for the reconciliation of clinical research accounts.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Regulatory Affairs to monitor and track Time to Activation of study start-up.
- Interact regularly with faculty, research nurses, study coordinators, departmental offices, outside sponsors, and other relevant staff.
Requirements
- Master's degree required in life science, public health, or business administration.
- Minimum of 5 years related work experience with clinical trial budget development and negotiations.
- ACRP or SOCRA required within 24 months of employment.
- Working knowledge of local, state, federal, and international government codes/regulations related to the conduct of human subject research and CMS guidelines.
- Extensive experience with CTMS and other clinical trial electronic systems (CTMS, EPIC, VELOS, COMPLION) are highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication, analytical, presentation, and time management skills.
