ROLE OVERVIEW

The Revenue Executive supports the Revenue Management team in maximising room revenue and profitability across the Montcalm Collection. This role focuses on monitoring pricing, managing inventory, ensuring rate parity, and supporting data-driven decision-making through accurate forecasting and analysis. The Revenue Executive works closely with the Cluster Revenue Manager to optimise rates and availability, analyse performance trends, and contribute to the effective execution of revenue strategies across multiple channels.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor and manage daily, weekly, and monthly hotel pricing to maximise room revenue and profitability.
  • Ensure rate parity across all distribution channels.
  • Manage and load FIT allocations and rates on extranets, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
  • Handle group enquiries, provide accurate quotes, and ensure optimal room allocation.
  • Manage hotel room inventory to maintain availability and optimise occupancy.
  • Analyse rate performance and promotional results to maintain an effective rate mix.
  • Track booking pace through occupancy, ADR, and revenue trends, taking proactive actions to meet goals.
  • Forecast daily, weekly, and monthly revenue, considering events and market conditions.
  • Assist in preparing monthly performance reports, revenue summaries, and forecasts.
  • Attend monthly meetings and present revenue results versus targets and budgets.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar revenue management role, preferably within an upscale or luxury hotel environment.
  • Strong understanding of Opera (PMS) and IDeaS (Revenue Management System).
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data interpretation.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work accurately under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Full-time position, office-based with flexibility during high-demand periods.
  • Collaboration with multiple hotel teams and departments across the Montcalm Collection.
  • Exposure to fast-paced, data-driven decision-making and continuous learning in revenue management.
