Overview
The F&B Sales Executive is an integral role at Montcalm Collection Mayfair. The role is to take responsibility for converting business reactively by personal and consistent sales service, resulting in the achievement of hotel profit plan that maximises revenue by driving the sale of conference and events facility spaces.
Responsibilities
- Maximise all Conference & Events revenue opportunities by reactively selling the venue to new and existing clients.
- Achieve sales targets and expand the business.
- Adhere to Montcalm Collection standards and uphold and exemplify Montcalm Hotel Service of Excellence.
- Handle reactive residential groups, events, F&B and conference enquiries in accordance with brand standards.
- Understand the competitive marketplace and implement approaches to ensure the hotel stays competitive in the local market.
- Uphold accurate and regular tracking of enquiries to convert every business opportunity.
- Support team to ensure all event documents and paperwork are accurate and in place.
- Call potential clients, arrange show rounds and fam trips to convert enquiries to sales.
- Be present to meet and greet customers as appropriate.
- Work closely with the G&E Senior Meeting Planner, DOS and BDM for Groups and Events.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest and associates’ information and pertinent hotel data.
- Manage own sales appointments and follow up professionally.
- Collect own data and provide accurate management reports.
- Promote a good image of the hotel and the group.
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
- Have full product knowledge of the facilities offered.
- Work effectively to build relationships with colleagues in the hotel.
- Take a lead in controlling and tracking Event-related Enquiries (Reactive) and RFPs.

Working Conditions
The role is based in the company’s London office. Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5.30 pm, during live events and build-up hours may vary. Out-of-hours work at events may be required.
Eligibility
Candidates must be authorised to live and work in the UK. Currently, visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
