SCOPE & GENERAL PURPOSE

The FP&A & Finance Transformation Manager will play a key role in developing the Group Finance function, providing high-quality financial planning, performance insight, management reporting and data-driven decision support across the Montcalm Collection.

The role will own the Group budgeting and forecasting framework, management reporting, KPI development, financial modelling, Power BI environment and finance transformation agenda.

Working closely with the Head of Finance, hotel leadership and wider executive team, the role will improve the quality, consistency and accessibility of financial information across the Group and drive greater efficiency through standardisation, automation and technology.

The successful candidate will combine strong financial and commercial understanding with excellent analytical, systems and stakeholder management skills.

• LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES
• Financial Planning & Analysis
• Lead and coordinate the Group annual budgeting process across all hotels and business units.
• Consolidate hotel and functional forecasts, ensuring assumptions are robust and commercially credible.
• Produce rolling forecasts and long-term financial models.
• Develop scenario and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decision-making (including ROI projects).
• Analyse financial and operational performance and identify key risks, opportunities and trends and ensure these are clearly communicated to senior stakeholders.
• Support business cases for investment, recruitment, capital expenditure and strategic initiatives.
• Continuously improve forecasting accuracy, processes and methodologies.
• Work closely with operational teams to strengthen forward-looking financial planning.
• Group Management Reporting
• Own and standardise the design, production and continuous improvement of the Group monthly management reporting process, while recognising relevant hotel and brand differences.
• Produce high-quality Executive and Board reporting packs, including clear financial analysis and commentary.
• Develop and maintain a consistent Group KPI framework across all brands and hotels.
• Deliver insightful variance analysis across actuals, budget and forecast.
• Business Intelligence, Data & Power BI
• Own the Group Power BI reporting environment and reporting roadmap.
• Develop and maintain dashboards for Finance, Managing Directors, Executive Leadership and operational stakeholders.
• Translate financial and operational data into clear, actionable management insight.
• Work with Finance and IT stakeholders to improve data flows, systems integration and reporting capability.
• Support the development and standardisation of chart of accounts, reporting structures, master data and financial hierarchies.
• Finance Transformation & Automation
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and digitise Finance processes.
• Lead initiatives to reduce manual reporting, data manipulation and repetitive Finance activities.
• Develop and maintain a Finance transformation roadmap aligned with the Group's future finance systems strategy and continuous improvement programme.
• Evaluate and implement appropriate automation, digital and AI-enabled solutions where they provide clear business value.
• Lead continuous improvement projects across Finance, measuring benefits and adoption.
• Support Finance teams in adopting new technologies, processes and ways of working.
• 5. Group Finance Governance
• Maintain and continuously improve the Group Finance calendar covering month-end reporting, forecasting, budgeting and Board reporting.
• Establish clear deadlines, responsibilities and reporting standards across the Group.
• Promote consistency, accountability and transparency across the Finance function.
• Ensure reporting processes support timely and effective decision-making.

• Maintain and continuously improve the Group Finance calendar covering month-end reporting, forecasting, budgeting and Board reporting.
• Establish clear deadlines, responsibilities and reporting standards across the Group.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (e. g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
• Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience, including at least 2 years in hospitality.
• Strong track record in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and hotel management systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments.
• WORKING CONDITIONS
• Full-time role, based across Montcalm Collection hotels and central offices in London.
• Office-based with flexibility required during reporting and audit cycles.
• May require occasional extended hours during peak financial periods.
• Regular interaction with operational teams, auditors, and external partners.
