Overview
The Food & Beverage Attendant works closely with the Food & Beverage Management Team and the General Manager overseeing daily operations of the F&B Outlets, ensuring exceptional service standards and delivering a luxury dining experience. This role involves serving food and beverages, ensuring guests feel welcome, comfortable and well attended to, ensuring that all service standards reflect the hotel’s luxury brand.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables and ensure their needs are met throughout their dining experience.
- Provide detailed information about the menu, including specials and beverage pricing.
- Accurately take orders and ensure all requests, dietary preferences and food allergies are communicated to the kitchen and the bar team.
- Efficiently serve food and drinks while adhering to the highest standards of presentation and service.
- Ensure tables are properly set and cleared in a timely manner.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the food and beverage offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings, to confidently make recommendations.
- Actively promote additional items and special menu offerings to enhance guest experience.
- Ensure F&B outlets are impeccably clean and always organised, adhering to Health & Safety regulations.
- Work closely with kitchen team, bartenders and other attendants to provide a seamless service.
- Support fellow team members during busy periods or special events.
- Address any guest concerns or complaints with professionalism, resolving them promptly, or escalating them to the management.
- Assist in managing stock inventory, replenishing items as needed and reporting shortages to supervisors.
- Assist with the preparation and service for special events, banquets, and private dining experiences, ensuring that the event exceeds guest expectations.
- Answer and manage incoming calls, emails, and reservations, ensuring all communication is handled professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure accurate billing, cash handling and payment procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and timely service.
- Respond to emergency situations calmly and efficiently, following hotel protocols.
Skills And Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and guest-oriented mindset.

- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service, wine pairings and menu offerings.
- Familiarity with the Health & Safety regulations in F&B service (HACCP).
