We are seeking a Supply Chain Sustainability Analyst to support a large-scale project focused on regulatory compliance, sustainability, and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals within one of our client’s supply chain operations. This role will ensure the alignment of the company's supply chain activities with regulatory and customer-driven compliance requirements, including mapping out relevant obligations and ensuring the integration of sustainability initiatives into daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Define and scope the regulatory and customer-driven compliance requirements relevant to the business, mapping various sales and operating scenarios to identify where obligations apply.
- Design and implement the supply chain ESG and compliance programme, establishing priorities and creating practical processes for implementation.
- Develop and test supplier due diligence screening criteria, including risk indicators, data requirements, and escalation thresholds aligned to both internal and external expectations.
- Facilitate targeted workshops with suppliers and key stakeholders to validate assumptions, assess data availability, and drive early engagement on due diligence and compliance expectations.
- Mobilise the programme by drafting documentation, providing internal guidance, and defining tool configurations, working closely with Procurement, Category Management, and Sustainability teams.
- Support the transition from design to execution, ensuring compliance is embedded into the supply chain operations at all levels.
Requirements:
- Proven experience within supply chain management, particularly focused on sustainability, ESG compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of the regulatory landscape impacting supply chain operations, including relevant industry standards and customer-driven compliance requirements.
- Expertise in designing and implementing sustainability programmes within the supply chain, including prioritising activities and developing practical processes.
- Experience working with suppliers to assess data, implement due diligence frameworks, and ensure compliance with sustainability targets.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as Procurement, Sustainability, and Category Management.
- Familiarity with supplier due diligence, risk management frameworks, and ESG reporting standards.
- Previous experience in AI, automation, or data-driven solutions within supply chain or sustainability contexts.
- Experience with stakeholder engagement, particularly in a workshop or consultative capacity.
- Background in ESG reporting and the ability to track and measure key sustainability outcomes.
- Experience within the manufacturing or distribution sectors, particularly in B2B environments.
- Experience in regulatory compliance within the context of sustainability and supply chain management.
