We are seeking an experienced Azure DevSecOps / Cloud Engineer to support the delivery of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure within a government-aligned programme. This role focuses on Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipeline engineering, and secure platform delivery, with a strong emphasis on Azure Databricks and DevSecOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform
  • Develop and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
  • Support and optimise Azure Databricks environments and data workflows
  • Implement container‑based solutions using Docker / Docker Compose
  • Integrate security tooling (e.g. Trivy) into CI/CD pipelines
  • Manage Azure services including networking, IAM, VMs, and storage accounts
  • Develop automation scripts using Bash and/or Python
  • Maintain version control and collaboration via Azure DevOps (Repos)

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in Azure cloud engineering
  • Proven expertise in Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
  • Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps pipelines (CI/CD)
  • Experience working with Azure Databricks or similar data platforms
  • Exposure to DevSecOps practices and security scanning tools (e.g. Trivy)
  • Experience with Docker / containerisation
  • Scripting ability (Bash and/or Python)
  • Experience working in secure or regulated environments
  • Exposure to Zero Trust or secure‑by‑design architectures
  • Knowledge of monitoring / logging tools within Azure
