Montash are partnering with a well-known hospitality provider, who are seeking an experienced IT Programme Manager to lead the final and most critical phase of a major strategic transformation. This role will drive the replacement of a long-running customer platform and the integration of new revenue management capabilities. The programme is at a pivotal point following previous delays and resets. We need a leader who can restore momentum, strengthen governance, rebuild confidence across teams, and ensure a successful phased go-live. Industry experience in travel, transport, or hospitality is mandatory. This is a key hire with a fast-moving, one-stage interview process.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of a complex, multi-stream transformation aligned with business and customer strategy.
- Own programme scope, KPIs, milestones, and C-level reporting.
- Provide clear direction across all workstreams and rebuild confidence through strong governance and transparency.
- Hands-On Delivery Management
- Step in to unblock delivery, support project managers, and tighten planning, RAID, and execution.
- Manage interdependent schedules with seasonal constraints and lead cutover and BAU transition.
- Oversee integration of revenue management capability and maintain full budget ownership (~£7.5m).
- Customer System Replacement
- Lead the final phase of a multi-year customer-facing system replacement requiring reset and re-alignment.
- Hold offshore vendors accountable for quality, timelines, and product completeness.
- Drive UX and customer experience enhancements following earlier go-live phases.
- Business Change & Transformation
- Deliver cross-programme change plans to support adoption of new systems and processes.
- Lead communication, training, and readiness to ensure smooth and sustainable change.
- Stakeholder & Partner Engagement
- Engage and influence senior leaders with clear communication and credible challenge.
- Rebuild trust across teams and partners, enabling timely decisions and maintaining programme momentum.
