We are looking for 2x Data Scientists to enhance an ongoing brownfield project focused on efficiency management. This initiative, now 1.5 years in development, requires data-driven predictions to optimize operational efficiency. You will play a key role in refining existing work, adding critical improvements, and guiding the team through data exploration and advanced modelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data to derive meaningful insights
  • Conduct data modelling and apply varied modelling techniques to produce efficiency predictions
  • Working with a range of data sources using algorithmic, data mining, artificial intelligence, machine learning and statistical tools.
  • Develop analytics solutions within Azure, Oracle, AWS cloud environments
  • Utilize databases (e.g SQL / Oracle) to structure, query, and analyze data
  • Assessing what’s achievable with current data and identifying potential enhancements
  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders and data teams

Key Skills

  • 4 -7 years’ experience in data science, with 2-4 successful implementations
  • Strong knowledge of R, Python, and advanced data science methodologies
  • Proven expertise in data modelling, predictive analytics, and statistical analysis
  • Demonstrated success in delivering data-driven efficiency improvements
  • Pre-cleared to SC level
  • DV clearance or willingness to obtain
  • MLOps and DataOps
  • spaCy NLP Framework
  • BERT
  • Background in Maths/Physics
