We are seeking an experienced Azure DevSecOps / Cloud Engineer to support the delivery of secure, scalable cloud infrastructure within a government-aligned programme. This role focuses on Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipeline engineering, and secure platform delivery, with a strong emphasis on Azure Databricks and DevSecOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform
- Develop and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Support and optimise Azure Databricks environments and data workflows
- Implement container‑based solutions using Docker / Docker Compose
- Integrate security tooling (e.g. Trivy) into CI/CD pipelines
- Manage Azure services including networking, IAM, VMs, and storage accounts
- Develop automation scripts using Bash and/or Python
- Maintain version control and collaboration via Azure DevOps (Repos)
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in Azure cloud engineering
- Proven expertise in Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps pipelines (CI/CD)
- Experience working with Azure Databricks or similar data platforms
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices and security scanning tools (e.g. Trivy)
- Experience with Docker / containerisation
- Scripting ability (Bash and/or Python)
- Experience working in secure or regulated environments
- Exposure to Zero Trust or secure‑by‑design architectures
- Knowledge of monitoring / logging tools within Azure
