You will be responsible for defining data architecture and solution designs across multiple business domains, working across Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure and Databricks. You will guide delivery teams, establish data standards and ensure that data products are governed, interoperable and built for long-term value.

Responsibilities

  • Define architecture and solution designs for enterprise data products across the full product life cycle.
  • Lead data modelling, integration and governance across Snowflake, Fabric, Azure and Databricks environments.
  • Provide direction across data replication, CDC, streaming, API access and ETL/ELT patterns.
  • Establish standards for data security, access controls, interoperability and regulatory compliance.
  • Guide complex data migration from RDBMS, SAP, Salesforce, GIS and other enterprise systems.
  • Collaborate with business, analytics and engineering teams to align technical solutions with strategic objectives.
  • Support AI, machine learning and advanced analytics use cases through scalable, governed data architecture.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in Data Architecture within large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Expertise delivering end-to-end cloud data platform implementations using Snowflake, Fabric and Azure.
  • Deep experience with Snowflake technologies including Snowpark, SnowPipe, Dynamic Tables, Cortex Analytics and RBAC.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, ELT pipelines, data virtualisation, streaming and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience with Databricks, Matillion, Alteryx, Qlik, Power BI, AzureML and ERStudio.
  • Knowledge of data security, GDPR, SoX and regulated access control environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and business leadership.
