They are looking to engage a Principal Data Architect to define the architecture and design of enterprise data products across Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure and Databricks.
Key Responsibilities
- Define architecture and solution designs for enterprise data products
- Lead data modelling, integration and governance across Snowflake, Fabric, Azure and Databricks
- Provide direction across CDC, streaming, API access, and ETL/ELT patterns
- Establish standards for data security, access controls and regulatory compliance
- Guide complex data migration from RDBMS, SAP, Salesforce, GIS and other enterprise systems
- Align technical solutions with business, analytics and engineering stakeholders
- Support AI, machine learning and advanced analytics use cases through scalable data architecture
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong data architecture background within large-scale enterprise environments
- End-to-end cloud data platform delivery experience using Snowflake, Fabric and Azure
- Deep Snowflake experience, including Snowpark, SnowPipe, Dynamic Tables, Cortex Analytics and RBAC
- Strong understanding of data modelling, ELT pipelines, data virtualisation, streaming and integration patterns
- Experience with tools such as Databricks, Matillion, Alteryx, Qlik, Power BI, AzureML and ERStudio
- Strong knowledge of data security, GDPR, SoX and regulated access control environments
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical and business leadership teams
