We are seeking a highly skilled (re)insurance placement broker to join our London team at Guy Carpenter, specialising in structured credit and treaty reinsurance (facultative experience a plus). This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. The successful candidate will also focus on building insurance and reinsurance capacity. This role demands a strong blend of operational excellence, deep product knowledge, and effective sales and marketing capabilities to secure (re)insurance capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute (re)insurance placements.
  • Develop and expand insurance capacity for consortia.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external clients to understand risk profiles and placement needs.
  • Drive sales and marketing initiatives using a relationship-driven and market-driven approach.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, products, and regulatory developments in the banking and (re)insurance space.
  • Ensure operational excellence in broking processes and client service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in (re)insurance broking or ceded reinsurance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
