Aon's UK Retail business is currently recruiting an Insurance New Business Advisor to join our Aon Global Client Network (AGCN) team! This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Chelmsford office. The Aon Global Client Network operates in 120 countries and is unlike any other industry. AGCN handles some of the largest clients in the world. We, the UK part of AGCN, handle the subsidiaries of these global companies that have a presence within the UK and assist them with all risk solutions.

What the day will look like
- As a New Business Advisor you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, innovative and profitable service to new global clients transitioning into the UK market.
- Handling new client introductions and delivering flawless handovers to the renewal team.
- Understanding client businesses and insurance requirements, delivering service in line with agreed Statements of Service.
- Preparing client documentation including questionnaires, reports, presentations and marketing materials.
- Negotiating terms with insurers and Aon facilities, supporting broking teams to achieve optimal client outcomes.
- Coordinating global programmes and collaborating with colleagues across Aon's international network.
- Implementing programme changes, mid-term adjustments and cover extensions.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance, contract certainty and adherence to Aon UK Limited risk and governance frameworks.
- Identifying opportunities for programme improvement and revenue growth across allocated client accounts.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Commercial insurance experience is desirable, though candidates with personal lines experience will also be considered.
- Working towards, or a desire to undertake, professional insurance qualifications.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and deliver work accurately and on time.
- A good understanding of FCA principles and procedures (desirable).
- Confidence building relationships with clients, insurers and internal stakeholders.
