Montana Home Care is a leading provider of personalised, high-quality care at home throughout Scotland. We support individuals to maintain their independence, dignity, and wellbeing in the comfort of their own homes.
We are currently seeking a Female Senior Support Worker who lives in the Falkirk area and has a Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as the role involves travelling between service users' homes. Due to the nature of the role, we require a female candidate under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

Shift Options
5 days over 7 on a rota basis. Driving is essential for this role due to the travel involved between service users' homes.
About the Role
As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to people in their own homes, and you will also lead and support staff to deliver high-quality, person-centred care by:
- Managing some day-to-day areas of operations including risk assessments, audits, and compliance with health and safety.
- Supervising, mentoring, and developing Support Workers, undertaking supervisions.
- Ensuring our Person-Centred Support and Enablement model of care is embedded throughout the service.
- Liaising with social workers, families, and external agencies to achieve the best outcomes for the people we support.
- Supporting with on-call duties.
- Delivering care and support to cover when required, including supporting with personal care and hygiene, meal preparation and serving, medication prompts and administration, catheter care, companionship, and emotional support.

What We're Looking For
- SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care β or willing to work towards this qualification.
- Friendly, caring, and compassionate.
- Organised, responsible, and reliable.
- Excellent communicators in spoken and written English.
- Committed to delivering high standards of care.
- Able to work on a rota basis, including alternate weekends.
- Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a car.
This role is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. A PVG check will be required for successful applicants.
