Our Housing and Land planning team advises owners, developers and occupiers of sites and properties in England across the private and public sectors. Clients include Barratt, London Square, Regal, Taylor Wimpey, the NHS, Defra and the MoD. Current projects include Orchard Wharf, Springfield Hospital, Northfleet Harbourside and Worcestershire Parkway.

Responsibilities
- Support the partners in the housing and land planning team.
- Contribute to the growth of the housing and land planning team.
- Take initiative to resolve project and internal matters that arise.
- Be responsible for one's own and junior colleague's performance, managing and delegating effectively.
- Keep abreast of market and professional information to identify profitable business opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with other parts of the business and explore business opportunities.
- Nurture existing client relationships to win repeat business independently or as part of a team.
- Provide direct client advice and manage junior staff to prepare advice to clients.
- Develop planning strategies, prepare programmes and review information.
- Draft or review reports, coordinate the preparation and submission of planning applications, appeals and representations.
- Identify new business opportunities, assist in firm-wide business development and prepare fee proposals.
- Develop an individual client base.
- Provide planning advice to clients and attend meetings.
- Assist in the development and training of staff, including mentoring junior staff.
- Maintain continuing professional development for self and junior colleagues.
- Perform any additional duties as reasonably requested.
Qualifications
- RTPI Qualified.
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- Team player who enjoys working collaboratively across teams and departments.
- High service delivery skills.
- Independent thinker.
- Previous experience of working across England, preferably with experience in delivering residential-led projects.
