We are seeking an Analyst to assist in delivering high quality, evidence‑led advice to our clients. The role will primarily support our Strategic Economics and Case-making and Programme and Portfolio Delivery sub‑teams, however the successful candidate will also be expected to support other areas of the DSA team as needs arise. This is a varied role, encompassing quantitative analysis, strategic insight, project management, and business development support. The successful candidate will be expected to take an active role in the day‑to‑day delivery of client work as well as taking responsibility for several supporting tasks within the team.

  • Lead the preparation of quantitative and qualitative analysis to support client deliverables, including for economic impact assessments (and related workstreams), business cases, place strategies and asset/portfolio reviews.
  • Support Senior Advisors, Associates, and Partners with the preparation of high‑quality client outputs, including reports, slide decks and presentations.
  • Support with project management on larger or more complex commissions, including developing project execution plans, programmes and action trackers, and coordinating meetings and workshops.
  • Support business development activity, including bid writing, market and policy research, and pitch preparation.
  • Act as a key internal point of contact within DSA for data and research queries, working with colleagues to develop and maintain databases, analytical tools, and market commentary. This will include close collaboration with the central ME research team.
  • Undertake GIS mapping and spatial analysis (training will be provided).
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills, ideally within a real estate, planning, or economic advisory context.
  • Ability to translate data and research into high‑quality insights that support strategic decision‑making and create value for clients.
  • Excellent written and visual communication skills, including report writing and presentation preparation.
  • Confidence and capability to participate in client meetings, workshops, and internal project discussions alongside more senior colleagues.
  • High attention to detail, producing robust, well‑structured outputs that can be relied upon by both clients and colleagues.
  • Self‑starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently and proactively.
  • Commercial awareness, with an understanding of the business context of advisory work and the importance of efficient project delivery.
