Responsibilities
- To support the partners in the housing and land planning team
- To contribute to the growth of the housing and land planning team
- To take initiative to resolve project and internal matters that arise
- To be responsible for one’s own and junior colleague’s performance, managing and delegating effectively
- To keep abreast of market and professional information to identify profitable business opportunities
- To work collaboratively with other parts of the business and explore business opportunities
- To nurture existing client relationships to win repeat business independently or as part of a team
Main Duties, Responsibilities, Accountabilities
- Reporting to Head of Housing and Land:
- Providing direct client advice and managing junior staff to prepare advice to clients
- Developing planning strategies, preparing programmes and reviewing information
- Drafting or reviewing reports, co-ordinating the preparation and submission of planning applications/ appeals/ representations
- Identifying new business opportunities, assisting in firm-wide business development and preparing fee proposals
- Developing individual client base
- Providing planning advice to clients and attending meetings
- Assisting in the development and training of staff, including mentoring junior staff
- Responsible for maintaining continuing professional development for self and junior colleagues
- Any additional duties as reasonably requested

- RTPI Qualified
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Team Player who enjoys working collaboratively across Teams and Departments
- High service delivery skills
- An independent thinker
- Previous experience of working across England preferably with experience in delivering residential led projects
