We are seeking a customer-centric Retail Sales Assistant to join our client’s thriving sales department. The ideal candidate will have experience in outbound or inbound retail and promotional activities, as well as a creative mind to help us stay fresh and competitive. The team will rely on the sales professional’s ability to collaborate with a team of thinkers and doers, as well as a strong capacity for managing multiple tasks at once. The individual will also be expected to prepare and present to our clients' customers.

Objectives of Retail Sales Assistant

  • Support their existing marketing team in delivery of effective experiential promotional campaigns that achieve company and client objectives.
  • Assist in execution of a variety of sales initiatives that drive brand awareness, trial and distribution, including the day-to-day execution across marketing campaigns, promotions, and sales support.
  • Support the development and execution of sales and marketing materials, adapting scopes, timelines, and deliverables as needed for maximum benefit.
  • Build skill sets and engage in ongoing education for the company.

Daily and Monthly Activities:

  • Collaborate with team members to execute sales and marketing campaigns, leading brainstorming sessions to execute marketing plans for internal and external projects.
  • Carry out various marketing campaigns for brand-building and lead generation that align with overall company goals and sales targets.
  • Contribute to other lead generation and customer-acquisition activities, such as sales enablement, media promotion, networking, trade shows, and events.
  • Measure and report performance of sales campaigns, gain insight, and assess against goals.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven success in a fast-paced environment, working with a team and individually.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, and presentation ability.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age (due to independent representation of clients) and eligible to work in the UK. The office is in Watford and you'll need to be able to travel to and from the office daily. You'll be working on a self-employed basis and your earnings will reflect your completed sales allowing for competitive, uncapped pay.
