A Day in the Life: As the Commercial Manager, you are the force that brings Monster’s strategy to life in your bottler region. You’ll own the commercialization engine — driving alignment, execution, and momentum across the bottler network and the local Business Unit (BU) field sales team. Your mission: fuel our brands’ dominance in the bottling system and at retail. You’ll be the connector, the catalyst, and the relentless champion ensuring Monster shows up with power, precision, and impact in every channel, every day.

The Impact You'll Make:

  • Be an expert on the bottler, their systems and processes as well as the local retail landscape.
  • Build, develop, and/or customize programs, go-to-market plans for brands within the bottler region.
  • Integrate with BU Leadership team to communicate brand priorities to bottler for execution at retail.
  • Manage bottler’s Local Marketing Funds (LMF) to include setting the budget, tracking spend, and communicating updates/opportunities to the local field and bottler sales teams.
  • Manage the use of premiums, dealer loaders, point of sale materials, coolers and other equipment to maximize Return on Investment (ROI) in the market.
  • Manage bottler specific supply chain issues to ensure that our brands are forecasted, ordered, warehoused and delivered in an appropriate manner.
  • Manage customer promotional and pricing issues as needed.
  • Provide sales updates as needed to all key bottler contacts and leadership on their respective region, including analysis of performance and metrics.
  • Spend time in the local markets to ensure brand execution is occurring at the desired levels, maintain a current knowledge of competitive activity and pricing.
  • Steward innovation launches and new product commercialization within the bottler’s territory.
  • Report and present performance, issues and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with field marketing, brand management and customer teams to create programs for brand and retail success locally.
  • Build, implement, and manage any incentives implemented with bottler network.
  • Communicate customer activity and to ensure placement in the bottler’s “Picture of Success” and commercial standards.
  • Share knowledge and Best in Class examples with peers.

Who You Are:

  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Business, Marketing, Finance or related field of study.
  • More than 5 years of experience in sales — retail, broker and distributor.
  • More than 5 years of experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), beverage industry.
  • Proficiency using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with forecasting, Nielsen/IRI, POS and Inventory reports.
  • Possess an understanding of bottler system and DSD networks.
  • Represent the Company in a professional manner and possess a strong work ethic.
