Monsoon is a brand that is drenched in colour, craft, and community. This role will play a key part in delivering this ethos through our social media platforms. The Social Media Planning Executive will work closely with the brand teams to organize, plan, and schedule social media content. We seek a passionate individual dedicated to building meaningful connections with our audience and creating impactful brand stories via innovative social media strategies.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized and creative, responsible for developing, scheduling, and coordinating social media campaigns across various platforms, ensuring alignment with our brand goals and marketing strategies. This role requires a mix of creative thinking, data-driven decision-making, and strong project management skills, particularly in Organic Social, PR, and influencer collaborations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage a content calendar across platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
  2. Collaborate with PR agencies and influencers to deliver organic and paid content, increasing brand visibility and attracting new customers.
  3. Coordinate with creative, copywriting, and marketing teams to plan engaging campaigns aligned with brand objectives.
  4. Conduct competitor and trend analysis to inform content planning.
  5. Work with designers, videographers, and content creators to ensure timely asset delivery.
  6. Schedule posts using social media management tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, or Meta Business Suite.
  7. Track performance metrics to optimize future campaigns.
  8. Ensure all content adheres to brand tone, style, and compliance guidelines.
  9. Monitor platforms for engagement opportunities and feedback.
  10. Support influencer marketing initiatives by coordinating posting schedules and content approvals.
  11. Collaborate with the Head of Marketing and management to deliver influencer campaigns and land them on performance and organic media.
  12. Coordinate with PR agencies to organize press events and foster a creative community to enhance organic social awareness.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor\’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of platform-specific best practices and algorithms.
  • Experience with social media management and analytics tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for engaging, on-trend content.
