What will you do as a Visual Merchandiser?
- Support and communicate the Visual Merchandising strategy for the Accessorize brand.
- Collaborate with Buying and Design teams to help define and deliver window strategies.
- Work closely with Buying and Merchandising teams to understand product strategy, including timing of product drops, to inform effective layout planning.
- Partner with merchandising teams to understand space allocation and optimize commercial layouts.
- Create and deliver clear, engaging Visual Guidelines for UK and International stores, balancing commerciality and creativity.
- Gather and respond to customer feedback, testing new ideas to enhance customer experience and drive innovation.
- Assist in the monthly setup of the mock shop to review and approve seasonal visual layouts.
- Set up product displays for windows in the mock shop to support visual communication.
- Support the delivery of the UK model store on a monthly basis.
- Co-produce weekly VM communications for retail teams.
- Collaborate with Marketing to communicate sale layouts and messaging effectively.
- Conduct store visits and incorporate feedback into visual strategies and layouts.
- Monitor competitors and stay up to date with VM trends and innovations.
- Create supporting visual communications for store concessions.
- Assist with ad-hoc VM projects, trials, and innovation initiatives.
What will you need to succeed as a Visual Merchandiser?
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in a visual merchandising role, including producing visual guidance.
- Desirable experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Photoshop.
- Strong creative flair with the ability to develop inspirational and commercial displays.
- High levels of pace, energy, and passion.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Customer-focused with a strong understanding of brand and creativity.
- A proactive problem-solver with a solutions-driven mindset and determination to deliver results.
- Ability to inspire and influence internal teams to achieve shared goals.
- Experience working with store teams to train, coach, and motivate.
