What you'll own:

  • SEO Leadership (Core Channel)
    • Own and execute the organic search strategy across Monsoon and Accessorize websites
    • Conduct keyword research, technical audits, and on-page optimisation
    • Partner with content, digital, and dev teams to implement SEO best practices
    • Monitor rankings, traffic, and revenue performance, identifying growth opportunities
    • Monitor Google algorithm updates and evolving SERP features proactively, acting as the internal voice that translates these changes into business implications.
  • GEO / Agentic Search Strategy (Next-Gen Channel)
    • Develop and lead a GEO strategy to ensure visibility across AI-driven platforms (e.g. ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Perplexity, etc.)
    • Optimise content for AI retrieval, summarisation, and citation
    • Identify opportunities to structure content for LLM discoverability (schema, entities, brand signals, authority building)
    • Experiment with new formats (FAQs, conversational content, structured data, feeds) that improve AI surfacing
    • Track and define success metrics for GEO (visibility, citations, assisted conversions, etc.)
  • Content & Brand Discoverability
    • Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to create search- and AI-optimised content
    • Ensure brand messaging is consistent, authoritative, and easily interpretable by AI systems
    • Identify gaps in content where the brand is underrepresented in search or AI responses
  • Analytics & Experimentation
    • Define KPIs across SEO and GEO, building dashboards to measure impact
    • Run structured experiments to validate GEO hypotheses
    • Use tools like GA4, Search Console, and emerging AI analytics platforms
    • Translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work closely with Digital, E-commerce, PR, and Tech teams
    • Educate internal stakeholders on GEO and the future of search
    • Act as the internal advocate for organic discovery innovation

What will you need to have to succeed as our SEO/GEO Manager?

  • Experience
    • 4–7+ years in SEO or organic growth roles
    • Proven track record of driving traffic and revenue through SEO
    • Experience working with e-commerce or retail brands preferred
  • Technical & Strategic Skills
    • Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimisation, and content strategy
    • Familiarity with structured data, indexing, and crawl optimisation
    • Understanding (or strong curiosity) around LLMs, AI search, and how content is surfaced in generative engines
    • Comfortable working with data and experimentation
  • Mindset
