We're excited to be looking for a Merchandising Administration Assistant to join our Accessorize Merchandising team.
We are looking for individuals with analytical minds who have an interest in Fashion and Retail.
You will be joining a team of merchandisers and buyers that will allow you to learn the essential logical and commercial skills needed to become a future Merchandiser.
What will you do as a Merchandising Administration Assistant?
Responsibilities
- Communicates daily with the team, ensuring that the critical path is managed effectively.
- Ensures all departmental, brand analysis and wider reports are accurately maintained (using excel and business objects), produced and circulated on a weekly basis.
- Monitors and analyses deliveries to ensure that the needs of the business are continually being met.
- Monitors, chases and amends orders to ensure the delivery schedule is accurately maintained.
- Provides additional administrative support to the merchandising team when requested.
- Maintains an awareness of current issues within brand and the impact that these have on the team, coming up with creative solutions when needed.
- Managing and allocating high number of deliveries.
- Ensure all allocations are completed on time.
- Leading the way to improve and implement processes.
- Able to support and lead junior members of the team.
Qualifications
- Prior working experience in a Merchandising Administration Assistant role, ideally in fashion retail.
- Proven experience managing and allocating deliveries.
- Proven experience working with a large number of SKUs.
- Experience working with suppliers, with the ability to problem‑solve and focus on solutions.
- Excellent time‑management skills with the ability to prioritise own workload with proven administrative ability.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- A self‑motivator who is enthusiastic and keen to progress and develop.
- Active team player who constantly contributes and supports other members.
- Excellent PC skills with an emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confident and articulate communicator with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Ability to deliver to tight time‑scales and work under pressure.
