What will you do as a Junior Channel Merchandiser?

  • Ensure all departmental, brand analysis and wider reports are accurately maintained (using Excel and MicroStrategy), produced and circulated on a weekly basis.
  • Use data analysis to identify and prioritise major sales drivers and highlight deficiencies such as best sellers, availability and option counts.
  • Work with the Merchandising team to ensure correct stock is allocated to support the product plans and customer demand.
  • Communicate with Regional Business Managers to ensure market feedback is reacted to swiftly.
  • Support the sale process (such as merchandising our sale outlets, creating international markdown lists, and preparing old season markdowns) to maximise sales, whilst protecting margin and profit.
  • Support the Senior Channel Merchandiser to ensure company and department information is communicated effectively to the team through weekly team meetings.
  • Coordinate with DC to release any held stock, investigate any order issues and organise returns.
  • Contribute to the trading critical path and maintain international feedback.
  • Attend store visits.
