What will you do as an Ecommerce Trading Manager? Actively trade the online channel, ensuring product availability, site content and promotion plans are optimised to achieve increased online sales in line with agreed KPIs. Support on Ecommerce business planning and forecasting as required. Work with the Digital Marketing & CRM Manager around traffic to the site to ensure excellent customer journeys that achieve KPIs and ensure all SEO activity is supported. Develop and manage relationship with buying teams and merchandisers to maximise range and availability across web & fulfil from store channels, including robust trading plans. Liaise with design, creative, photo studio and content team to ensure planned & timely delivery of site assets. Liaise with the IT and development teams to ensure website is updated according to the plans and onsite functionality improvements are planned & delivered. Input into onsite optimisation plans in areas such as search, funnel effectiveness etc. Liaise with the Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment on key activities, peak periods, ecommerce packaging, returns processing, cancellations and delivery proposition. Build effective relationships with other functions to operate effectively, such as counterparts in Monsoon, Finance etc. Responsible for the on-line customer satisfaction for the Accessorize brand. Liaise with the Customer Services Manager around online customer issues and customer satisfaction for the Accessorize brand. Team management responsibility of one direct report.
What will you need to succeed as an Ecommerce Trading Manager? Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a fashion retailer. Google Analytics 4 knowledge or similar. Balance of numerical/analytical skills with an eye for design & creative. Web platform experience, with Salesforce experience being advantageous. Experience with A/B & multivariant testing programmes. Team player able to motivate colleagues and drive an agile culture of continuous improvement. Track record of successfully delivering projects in the Ecommerce domain. Excellent communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to make good decisions and influence others. Demonstrate resilience with a natural curiosity to solve problems & ‘get things done’.
