Our story began with one man and his vision; to bring vibrant, colourful, hand-crafted artisan clothes from faraway places to the markets of London. It is a journey that started on a hippy commune in Ibiza, 1970, and finished with an overland trip east, through Afghanistan and India. Now found in West London, we’re creating vibrant products, and sharing endless discovery.

We are now looking for a Photographer to join our Studio team on a 12 month FTC covering a maternity leave. Working alongside the Senior Photographer and the wider Studio team you will be responsible for executing still-life photography for our brands, ensuring the shots you produce are of a high quality and meet the visual identity of the brands and commercial KPIs.

What will you do as our Photographer?

  • Shooting products to a high standard across model and non-model sets, predominantly for Accessorize but supporting Monsoon and East where required.
  • Responsible for creation, maintenance, and communication of shoot guides from a photography perspective for the Accessorize brand.
  • Maintain sets, ensuring all photographic equipment is in working order, reporting any damaged items that need repair.
  • Shoot all products in accordance with the style guidelines.
  • Notify the Senior Photographer / Photography Manager of any consumables that require ordering.
  • Provide support to Junior Photographers on a day-to-day basis.
  • Leading and contributing to team and departmental meetings.
  • Build strong, professional, and collaborative relationships with the wider studio team.
  • Any other ad-hoc tasks and projects defined by the Studio Manager.

We’d love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Previous experience working within a digital photographic studio, ideally as a mid-level Photographer.
  • Previous commercial photographic experience.
  • A meticulous eye for detail and excellent photography and lighting skills.
  • A good understanding of colour correction.
  • A good working knowledge of using Capture One, Canon, and Photoshop are essential.
  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and motivate others to achieve within the required timeframe.
  • A high level of competency of shooting fashion and stills product in order to achieve the absolute highest standard of imagery for e-commerce and editorial photography where necessary.
  • Strong technical photographic knowledge and brand awareness when shooting on fashion sets.
  • An ability to direct models in a clear and cohesive manner, and guide models who are not as strong as others in order to achieve a successful shooting day.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, positive, and hard-working.
  • Ability to work within a team, excelling under pressure with a flexible attitude.

What will we offer you in return?

  • Competitive salary.
  • 23 days holiday with the option to purchase additional holiday through our salary sacrifice scheme.
  • Bonus day off each year after 6 months service.
  • A pension that you will automatically be enrolled in after 3 months.
  • Life assurance (subject to participating in the pension scheme).
  • A flexible working approach.
  • Early pay day Friday finish.
  • A generous staff discount with up to 50% discount on our products.
  • Interest-free season ticket loans.
  • Discounted gym membership at our on-campus gym.
  • Additional discounts such as Westfield discount, Taste card membership, etc.
