Description
Touton Logistics is seeking Warehouse Associates to help us in our warehouse. The warehouse associate is responsible for receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments, assessing stock for damages, keeping a concise record of inventory, and accurately filling customer orders.
Responsibilities:
- Locate products and check/verify orders.
- Retrieve orders according to quantity, size etc. ensuring accuracy.
- Inspect products for defects and damage.
- Build/Wrap pallets with orders and position them for loading
- Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment
- Maintain precise records and notes on orders. Communicate discrepancies or changes to supervisors.
- Adhere to safety policies and quality standards per company guidelines.
- Other tasks as assigned daily.
Requirements:
- Experience as order picker or as a warehouse associate
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical activities such as bending, lifting, loading, unloading, and sorting.
- Ability to bend, squat and climb repetitively.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Order picker and electric pallet jack experience preferred.
- Team player with organization and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment.
