We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hedge Fund Recruitment Research Analyst to join our specialist executive search team focused on the alternative investment industry. This role sits at the intersection of financial markets, talent intelligence, and executive search. The successful candidate will support senior consultants and clients by delivering high-quality market research, candidate mapping, and talent intelligence across hedge funds, asset managers, and alternative investment firms globally. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed market mapping across hedge funds, asset managers, and alternative investment firms
  • Identify and research investment professionals across portfolio management, trading, quantitative research & trading
  • Build talent pipelines and maintain accurate candidate intelligence databases
  • Produce target funds overview reports & organisational maps
  • Track hedge fund launches, team moves, and market developments
  • Assist with candidate outreach and initial screening conversations
  • Prepare candidate profiles, longlists, and research presentations
  • Maintain CRM systems and ensure data accuracy
  • Work closely with senior consultants on strategic search mandates

Requirements

  • Degree educated or equivalent
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
