Are you an experienced Change Engineer looking to work on one of the UK's most ambitious infrastructure programmes? We are supporting the delivery of a multi-billion-pound nuclear megaproject that will play a critical role in the UK's future energy security and Net Zero ambitions. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing Project Controls team on a complex, nationally significant programme at the forefront of major project delivery.
As a Change Engineer, you will work closely with the Baseline & Change Manager to ensure programme changes are effectively identified, assessed, governed, and implemented. You'll play a key role in maintaining project baselines, facilitating governance processes, and supporting programme-wide decision making.
Hybrid Working Agreement - Over a fortnight you would be expected to spend 2 days in the London office and the following week spend 2 days in the Suffolk office. The remaining 6 days you would be working from home. Travel and Accommodation will be covered.
Key Responsibilities- Support the administration and governance of the change control process.
- Coordinate and manage baseline changes across scope, schedule, cost, and risk.
- Review and challenge change submissions to ensure impacts are fully assessed.
- Support Change Committee meetings and governance forums.
- Produce change management reports and performance data.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Change Owners, and Project Controls teams.
- Ensure approved changes are accurately implemented within programme systems.
- Drive compliance with project controls and governance procedures.
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience.
- Experience within Project Controls, PMO, Programme Management, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.
- Understanding of change control, governance processes, and baseline management.
- Knowledge of WBS, CBS, and project delivery structures.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience managing change on major infrastructure, engineering, construction, defence, energy, or capital projects.
- Nuclear industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience using project controls and programme management tools.
- Understanding of contractor/client delivery environments.
