A leading UK Project Management Consultancy in the Construction industry has a new opening for an Information Manager. The role is hybrid, based out of Taunton, Somerset, and pays up to £70,000 + benefits.

About the Role: As a Configuration & Information Manager, you will lead information and data governance on a high-profile infrastructure project in the South West of England.

Key Information Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a Configuration Management Strategy aligned with public sector standards
  • Act as Information Manager, ensuring compliance with BIM Level 2+ protocols
  • Manage the Common Data Environment (CDE), user access, and governance
  • Maintain the Information Delivery Plan (IDP) and master document register
  • Conduct verification audits and ensure data integrity
  • Support procurement with up-to-date BIM and information requirements
  • Lead onboarding and training on configuration and information systems
  • Foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams

Desired Experience:

  • Experience in configuration and information management within large scale infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge or experience of using various Common Data Environments (CDE)
  • Knowledge of experience of working with ISO 19650 standards and information management frameworks
  • Experience in tools and technology such as BIM, SharePoint, Viewpoint, Aiste, ProjectWise
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
