We are looking for a Senior Planner to lead the schedule for a flagship National Grid project. Joining a Tier 1, family-owned global engineering group known for its direct-delivery model, you will oversee a unique project lifecycle. The initial 24 months focus on heavy civil engineering, bridge construction, and major road infrastructure, before transitioning into a large-scale EPC phase for a high-voltage substation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a fully resourced P6 programme for complex civils and power infrastructure.
- Use TILOS to manage road and access infrastructure schedules.
- Work with Design and Estimating teams to justify temporary works and indirect costs.
- Provide clear, high-level summaries and reports for National Grid stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive experience on major Civil Engineering projects, specifically highways, bridges, or structures.
- Experience or interest in HV Power, Transmission, or Distribution.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6. Knowledge of TILOS or Asta is a distinct advantage.
- A strong understanding of commercial and contractual interfaces on Tier 1 projects.
