Site Compliance Specialist
Monroe Group is looking for a Site Compliance Specialist to join our team! We are seeking a specialist who can provide compliance processing and oversight to our affordable PBS8 community. Our ideal candidate is driven by policies and deadlines and interacts positively with applicants, residents, and co‑workers. They work hard while having fun and are strong problem‑solvers. The ideal candidate has experience in Project‑Based Section 8 (PBS8) and LIHTC programs, strong communication skills, can multitask, meet deadlines, produce accurate work consistently, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times. They can work as part of a team or independently with little oversight and are proficient in MS Office and property management‑related software. Must enjoy working with people and have a passion for customer service.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of the Community Manager, complete lease packets, calculate rent, and prepare all documents in accordance with Monroe policy and procedures.
- Maintain resident and property files and waiting lists.
- Maintain accurate reporting as required per various agency and program requirements.
- Audit and prepare the property for LIHTC, MOR, and other reviews.
- Ensure compliance with EIV requirements.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent (College degree preferred).
- 3 years Project‑Based Section 8 experience.
- 3 years LIHTC experience.
- Working knowledge of Onsite or Yardi software.
- English language proficiency (read, speak, and write).
- Ability to pass a full background check.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle required.
- Employment contingent on successful background check.
Additional Information
- Work schedule Monday–Friday (occasional weekends and evenings as needed).
- Experience with Affordable Housing properties, including management and occupancy reviews, UPCS/REAC inspections, and resident‑occupied project renovations.
- Preferred certifications: COS, HCCP, CPO, SCHM, TCS.
