Maintenance Technician – Amberly Square Apts. (Monroe Group Ltd.)
Monroe Group is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team at Amberly Square Apts. This role reports to the Community Manager and is responsible for maintaining the safety, appearance, and operation of the community within the budgeted goals, including interior and exterior building maintenance and oversight of outside contracts and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, appliances, and exterior structures
- Conduct property and unit inspections
- Maintain property curb appeal and general cleanliness
- Schedule and maintain the Make-Ready Board
- Purchase materials and assist with budget management
- Ensure maintenance teams deliver Safe, Decent, and Sanitary Housing to all residents

Columbus, OH
Salary
$20.00 – $22.00 per hour, depending on experience
Benefits

Requirements
- Previous experience in Apartment/multi-family maintenance
- English language proficiency (read, speak, and write)
- Ability to pass a full background check
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of maintenance technician experience including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair
- Experience in an affordable housing environment preferred
- Technical training and license preferred
