Named "One of the Most Innovative Companies in Design" by Fast Company, Monotype brings brands to life through type and technology that consumers engage with every day. The company's rich legacy includes a library that can be traced back hundreds of years, featuring famed typefaces like Helvetica, Futura, Times New Roman and more. Monotype specializes in the design, development, licensing, and management of typefaces and font technologies for the world’s biggest global brands and individual creative professionals.

Behind every license is a carefully maintained inventory of digital assets; keeping that inventory accurate, well-structured, and well-understood is what this team does. We’re looking for an Inventory Operations Specialist who is equally comfortable digging into data details and stepping back to think about how processes can work better. This is a role for someone who loves getting things right, communicating clearly, and building smarter ways of working.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Upload new font assets and add incoming partner/foundry data into PIM database, ensuring records are complete, accurate, and properly structured from the point of ingestion.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory data issues by researching root causes and making accurate corrections in Monotype's systems, primarily Enterworks Enable (PIM).
  • Serve as a knowledgeable internal resource on inventory data, responding to questions from Sales and other teams about product nuances, licensing details, and data structure.
  • Document and maintain Business Process Maps (BPMs) and standard operating procedures for inventory workflows.
  • Identify inefficiencies in existing processes and contribute to the design and implementation of improved or automated workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Sales, Product, and Technology teams to align on data standards and support operational needs.
  • Maintain data quality through regular audits, proactive monitoring, and issue tracking using tools such as Jira and ClickUp.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by surfacing patterns in data issues and recommending systemic solutions.

What we’re looking for:

  • 2-4 years of experience in inventory operations, data management, digital asset management, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail with a track record of maintaining high data accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders, including the ability to explain complex inventory information in plain language.
  • Experience working with PIM, DAM, or similar product/asset data systems.
  • Proficiency with Excel for data analysis and management tasks.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira or ClickUp.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Zendesk, or similar CRM platforms.
  • Experience with process automation concepts or tools, like creating Business Process Maps (BPMs) and process documentation.
  • Experience with Enterworks Enable or a comparable PIM system.
  • Experience utilizing AI to automate processes or quality improvement.

What’s in it for you:

  • Hybrid work arrangements and competitive paid time off programs.
  • Comprehensive commercial medical insurance coverage to meet all your healthcare needs.
  • Competitive compensation with corporate bonus program.
