Who do we need? The Agency Account Manager is responsible for identifying, establishing, and building strong relationships with strategic partners to drive topline growth, enhance the value of Monotype brand solutions and extend market reach. The ideal candidate is someone who is eager to drive the agency side of Monotype’s business while developing strategic sales skills and driving overall revenue for Monotype.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with team to own agency relationships that align and support Monotype growth and market expansion. This includes the creation of detailed account plans to track agency progress and achievement to revenue and milestone goals.
- Research and qualify new relevant agencies based on revenue potential, time to revenue realization, and strategic significance.
- Drive educational measures to grow revenue through joint strategic planning that encompasses product, marketing, and sales initiatives.
- Further develop Holding Company relationships at both the agency level and parent/holding company.
- Build and facilitate strong cross-functional relationships with Monotype business leaders and account personnel to engage on target agencies, strategize on holistic solutions, and ensure optimization of cross business opportunities.
- Maintain Salesforce CRM, including adding new leads, maintaining a qualified pipeline, and recording interactions and contacts relevant to the organization.
What we’re looking for:
- 2-4 years’ experience in an advertising agency or high-tech industry (preferably enterprise software) in the following roles: Business Development or Sales, Account Management, Product Marketing.
- You are highly organised, autonomous, self-starter with a focus on results.
- Comfortable with public speaking.
- Fluency in English is required; French, German or Italian is a plus.
