As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of up to 200+ hospitality clients. You will build lasting relationships, drive account growth through upsells and cross-sells, and help clients achieve maximum ROI from their partnership with SquareMeal.
What You Will Do
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a diverse portfolio of hospitality clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Onboard new clients, setting clear expectations and provide full training on our platform.
- Develop and execute account strategies to maximise client retention, revenue growth, and overall account value.
- Own the renewal process: engage proactively with clients well in advance of contract expiry to discuss performance, goals, and opportunities.
- Conduct regular check‑ins (phone, email, and in‑person meetings every 4–6 weeks) to maintain engagement and satisfaction.
- Understand client business needs and demonstrate clear ROI from their investment with SquareMeal.
- Maintain accurate client records and activity tracking in the CRM system.
- Identify and convert upsell opportunities and cross‑sell additional marketing solutions, including SquareMeal Rewards.
- Meet and exceed monthly KPIs & Targets with a focus on client retention and growth.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in account management, client success, or sales (hospitality/venues experience a bonus).
- To be results orientated and to demonstrate a track record of reaching and exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills (written, verbal, and in‑person).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a high‑volume client portfolio.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to articulate ROI and influence client decisions.
- Self‑motivated, adaptable, and a collaborative team player.
